Here is a checkbook cover for myself. I used Fiebings pro-oil dye and the gold frost highlighter from TLF.

Looks very different, in a good way.

How did you get that metallic "shine" all over it? Is it the gold frost highlighter thing? Would look nice for making something for various gadget cases etc. Does the finish stick on well, or does it tend to rub off? Did you use something to seal/finish it with some final layer? The lacing looks really nice too, great work.

Hello. Yes, this is the gold highlighter. I generally do it in a 2 step process. Dye and finish it, apply highlighter to my liking and then apply finish again.
