Ambassador Beaverslayer Posted January 14, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 14, 2008 Looks like a pretty cool tool, but boy is it expensive. Ken Quote Beaverslayer Custom Leather<br />Wearable Works of Art https://www.facebook...erCustomLeather
HorsehairBraider Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Looks like they are selling it more from the "It's a RARE antique!" angle than the "This is a great tool to use!" angle. I wonder what ever happened with the patent. It just seems like if it were a tool that worked really well, there would be a lot of them out there and a lot of people would have them in their shops. Members rawhide1 Posted January 14, 2008 Members Report Posted January 14, 2008 When I worked in a tack shop we had something that was sorta like that. Except it had a motor. We used it on all our bridle leather reins and headstall pieces. It worked great for that. Mike Quote
