TRICKYRAC Report post Posted September 14, 2010 These are two bracelets I made for my wife. The pics aren't too good, but oh well. Enjoy! Thanks, George

joquarter Report post Posted September 14, 2010 I'm curious how you put on the rinestones , did you glue them?
TRICKYRAC Report post Posted September 15, 2010 Thank you Ann. I did not back the bracelets. I simply sewed the edges for looks. My wife wanted pink thread, although I have to admit, it didn't turn out quite as well as I had hoped. Would you recommend backing the bracelet with something? I am super new to this and am open to any and all suggestions. Jo, The rhinestones are synthetic rivets. You actually have to punch a whole for each one and set them with a rivet punch. I am super new to this and am open to any and all suggestions. I associate sewn edges with a backing. You don't have to back it with anything, I was wondering, if you had, what you used. I made a memorial bracelet with a rhinestone pair. Having the prongs uncovered bothered me, so I covered just the prongs with an oval of lining leather.
