Singer 111W151

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I found this site looking for info on my machine and there seems to be a lot of people here that are knowledgeable about these old industrial machines that might be able to help me.

I just got a singer 111W151 in great working order. I got it to do some car and boat upholstery on (or learn to do it).

It came with a 1/4" welting foot. I am looking to get some other foot sets for it. I noticed that the rear presser foot for this machine come in two configurations. One with the shank 90 degrees to the other. I am sure you can change the orientation of the presser foot shaft but I cant see how to do it.

Mine is oriented this way;

Most sets I've seen are oriented this way;

I did find the US Army manual for this machine but I doesn't tell how to do this. Can the orientation of the presser foot shaft be changed? If so how would I do it? If not, where would I find foot sets for my machine's presser foot shaft orientation? Most foot sets I've seen have been oriented 90 degrees to mine.

Thanks in advance.

The feet that mount the other way are for 111w style of machines that have the 2-pc walking feet here's a listing of the feet we have for your machine which is called a needle feed.

The file is too big to put here if you want to send me a pm w/your email address I'll send it.

Thanks,

Bob
