Now I´ve made my first guitar strap for my wifes brother. I´m pleased with the result.

He wanted a guardian angle on his sholder so this is it..

( It was hell to hand stitch)

It looks very good. And hand stitching like that builds character and calluses.

Gorgeous! What weight leather did you use for this? What did you line it with?

Looks great! I'm also interested in woodandsteel's questions. I also realy like the stain/antique you used. what color and dye manufacturer did you use?

Very nice work Henke!!!

Did you cut the the slots for adjustment strap or use one of the horribly expensive punches?

Tom, do u thing I´m made of money, I cut them :-)

I used a 9 ounce leather and lined it with 5 ounce suede.

The color is Eco-Flo Gel Antique Dk. Brown with a coat

of Super Shene.

It took me about 8 hours to make 5 of them is sewing :-(

but i dont want to use a machine..... yet. If I want to live at

the stuff I make then I think I needs a machine, atleast

for the long stitching..

Tanx for all the nice feedback pards:You_Rock_Emoticon:

Figured you cut them, don't buy the cheap slot punches IF you're gonna buy. I bought one for about 300 sek and it failed and collapsed on the 6th slot. I dont know what kind of leather that one was supposed to cut through but it sure wasn't 3,5 mm veg.tan anyways.

We need talking more, get back at you via Facebook when I'm home from Karlstad again.
