Contributing Member Ferg Posted October 18, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted October 18, 2010 Anyone know where I can see/buy an 1/8" swivel knife blade? I am tempted to take an old filigree blade, grind it to 1/8" and sharpen. ferg Quote
King's X Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 That what I have done a couple of time with limited machinery and tools. Barry King and Leather Wranglers should be able to fill your needs. Good luck! Quote
gtwister09 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Ferg, Also check with Bob Beard. Regards, Ben Quote
hidepounder Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 Ferg, I agree with Ben.....your first choice should probably be Bob Beard. He has made several specialty blades for me. They are made of tool steel and are hard enough to chip my concrete floor without damaging the blade....true story! He is one of the few guys who still make shollow ground blades which I happen to love and they are of the highest imaginable quality. Bobby Quote

I would prefer the blade be 1/8" wide and angled. Some I have seen are straight. ferg Quote
