Holster makers sometimes use a plastic (nylon?) post when using a Line 24 snap on a pistol/revolver holster. It's inserted into the completed snap from the inside of the holster. It keeps the metal base of the regular post from rubbing on the pistol/revolver. Anyone know where I can buy this plastic piece?

I don't know of anyone that does anything like that. Line 24 snaps all have metal posts that I've ever seen or used.

Most of us only put snaps where their backsides can be covered with another layer of leather.

May God bless,

Dwight
