Patterns For Leather Jackets

Hello,

Does anyone know where I could find information/instruction/books on making a leather jacket (something like an aviator or Indiana Jones type)? I am trying to make a jacket out of some deer hides that I have from hunting but haven't had any luck finding a pattern to work with or modify. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Try looking at a fabric store and see what patterns they have. Or you might try looking on ebay.

Or you could find a jacket you like at a thrift store and use that as a pattern after taking it apart. It's a thought.John
