Members ShortBBL Posted November 2, 2010 Members Report Posted November 2, 2010 It took two tries to get it right, but I did it..... I love this one. Fit is perfect!! Finish.... not perfect, but not too bad. It started life as a Chestnut piece of W&C and after trying to stain the inside black... yup, bleed through to the stitches forced a color change! Looks ok for a rookie! Quote

Contributing Member TwinOaks Posted November 2, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted November 2, 2010 Mold tighter....I can't make out the serial number. Good looking holster you got there. A few minor tweaks to make, but very good piece. "..color bleed through at the stitches..." And now you've answered the question : "why dye before stitching?". Quote
