rustyriggin Report post Posted November 4, 2010 I need about a dozen Steel Thumb Break Stiffeners, all the places I find are minimum of 1000, and I'm sure I won't need that many in my life. Does anyone know where to get just 12 or so?? I'm not that picky as to what size, I haven't even designed the holster yet, so I can work around it. Thanks in advance. TwinOaks Report post Posted November 4, 2010 If you don't mind working w/ kydex, you can get a sheet of .06 from Springfield for CHEAP. It's a square foot, and should provide you with at least 100. I make mine out of kydex and haven't had any problems with them.
NoahL Report post Posted November 4, 2010 Give Marianne at JRM Clips a call: http://www.jrmclips.com/ Don't use the e-mail form, it doesn't seem to work properly, just give them a call. I know the site has a minimum order listed but they let me get 10 thumb break stiffeners and 10 belt clips, so you should be fine

joe59 Report post Posted November 6, 2010 Rusty, I cut my own from old hack saw blades. You can narrow them and take the teeth off with a sanding drum or grinding wheel. You can also make them as long as you need them. Hope this helps. JOE
SLP Report post Posted March 19, 2016 I just received 100 from jrm products. I called and spoke with Mariane. She was more than happy to let me order a small order of 100. That's way more than I needed, but at $0.15 a piece, it is well worth it. They have several options to choose from. After shipping it was $19. http://www.jrmclips.com/thumb-break-stiffeners.html
