Members StroppingYoungLad Posted December 5, 2010 Members Report Posted December 5, 2010 Hello all... I recently became interested in doing leatherwork again but this time as an adult. I did quite a bit of Tandy's kids project kits at a young age but probably quit due to lack of patience at the time. I remember getting the leather so soaked with water and hitting it so hard repeatedly that the tools would poke through the other side and I'm not talking about the sharp one's either. I'm pretty sure that I could pound a pear shader through a coaster so many times that it looked like Swiss cheese. Anyway, I started getting back into leatherwork with the idea that I'd start making my own belts. I've done a few small projects the past few weeks but have yet to actually start on the belt yet. With so many possibilities, I guess I got side-tracked. This looks like a good forum with a lot of knowledgeable people so I'm excited for what's in store. I'm sure that I'll have a bunch of questions to ask all of you as well. Peace Quote
