Members mokatoka Posted December 9, 2010 Members Report Posted December 9, 2010 Hello! Greetings from Romania! (and please excuse my english, it isn.t quite good..) I keep dreaming about making sandals. I am young and i like colorful objects. I make jewerly, decorations, clothes, using all kinds of materials (including leather). I want to make many pairs of colorfull leather sandals, I have so many ideas....BUT there.s something in my way. I don.t understand the whole process of making sandals. I tried to make 2 pairs of sandal, sewing the pattern from the interior sole, then pasting the interior sole with the exterior sole, but I don.t trust this pasting. I want to sew everything. The questions is: can I find soles that already have small cutting so that I can sew the leather on the sole ? Or I must make those small wholes on the exterior sole? How can I make the soles or where can I buy them? I hope you understand.. Thank you, Oana Quote
Members HellfireJack Posted December 9, 2010 Members Report Posted December 9, 2010 I've considered trying to make shoes/sandals but I'm not in any rush. Vibram makes soling products. http://www.vibram.us/products/default.asp Quote
