Other than making some replacement leather drive belts for my lathe and messing around with leather in college (a loooooonnnngggg time ago), I am a total novice to leatherworking. You will find lots of folks welling to share with you. We also look forward to you sharing with us your work, the good, the bad and even the "ugly". You will be surprised even lots of experience doesn't stop us from making mistakes and they make fine examples on what not to do. We especially like to see pictures of what you have been working on. Chief31794 Report post Posted December 16, 2010 Welcome aboard, lots of good info and knowledgeable folks out here that are very nice about providing tips and techniques, there is a nice section called "How do I do that" where you can post requests for assistance on how to accomplsh a certain task.
