I don't know if he'll get around to posting these, so I thought I'd do him the favor.

These are bracers my dad (whinewine) made for our show this past weekend. It's two layers of 3-4oz leather with a fake python (but real snake) inlay. It's double stitched around the inlay, then once around the border. He originally wanted to use eyelets to secure the strapping, but we couldn't find any long enough. We decided to go with D-rings rivetted to the underside.

I actually like the look of these better than the originals we based these on (which used the eyelets). The girl we sold them to wore them all weekend and they looked absolutley amazing on her. I wish we could have snagged a picture of the bracers in action.

Kudos, dad!

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Thanks, Mike. Actually they're 2 layers of 6-7oz laminated (rather than 3-4 oz [which would have made the job a lot easier, btw]), with the 3 rows of stitching. And yes, I am well pleased with the final result.

THE D-RINGS WERE A GOOD DECISION AND THE CUFFS ARE OF QUALITY...

HOPE YOU HAVE TO MAKE MANY, MANY MORE OF THEM...
