Members gregintenn Posted January 7, 2011 Members Report Posted January 7, 2011 This was a refreshing project, as I've never made one in this style. I sort of like it. The reason there is a bit of barrel stickingout of the bottom is that my revolver is a 4", and I built it to fit a 3". Quote
Members RWP Posted January 7, 2011 Members Report Posted January 7, 2011 nice work! im fixing to start working on a "range holster" for a co-worker and i was thinking of using a design similar to that. nice revolver by the way! Quote
Members Rayban Posted January 7, 2011 Members Report Posted January 7, 2011 Nice...but I'm wondering why you chose to anchor the belt loop with that strap instead of stitching it to the holster. Fashion statement?? Quote
Members gregintenn Posted January 7, 2011 Author Members Report Posted January 7, 2011 You are able to remove it without taking off your belt. It's what the constomer wanted. Quote
Members Haystacker Posted January 8, 2011 Members Report Posted January 8, 2011 Good job. I really like the holster. Quote
Members Haystacker Posted January 18, 2011 Members Report Posted January 18, 2011 Hey gregintenn, I was thinking about copying your holster. I thought this would be a good design for the taurus judge. How did you attach the hammer strap? Thanks, Jeff Quote

Thanks, Jeff Probably not the best of methods, but I attached it to the bottom of the belt loop, and pulled it through the holster via a slit I cut into the back of the holster. If I do another one, I'll probably just sew ot to the back of the holster. The customer was very happy with it. Hope this helps. Let's see it when you get it finished.
