Members nharms Posted May 10, 2008 Members Report Posted May 10, 2008 Hey guys, I apologize if this has been answered recently (I tried to search for the topic but couldnt find it). How do you go about sharpening/ stropping a trim knife? I have the Stohlman one with the curved blade, its not real obvious to me how I should do that. Thanks! -Nate Quote
Members Rawhide Posted May 10, 2008 Members Report Posted May 10, 2008 Nate, Since you have a curved blade, you might want to make a negative of the blade out of some wood, then glue a thin strip of leather to it for your strop. I have bought the Razor Sharp system and I love it. I can sharpen/strop just about anything, even serrated blades. Marlon Quote
