highqualitysaddles Report post Posted January 22, 2011 "American Straight Needle Stitcher" by Landis - $1,500 Sews up to 1 inch thick material, including leather, rubber, nylon, saddle linings, etc. Perfect for shoe repair, harness leather, skirting leather. 250-300 stitches per minute, and slowly. Said to be one of the smoothest stitchers ever built. Works GREAT and in great condition "No need to trim soles before stitching, since the Straight Needle Stitcher sews with a welt up. The operator is able to follow the progress of the stitching which makes it easier to sew through rough areas on the welt. HEIGHT 58", LENGTH 33" DEPTH 34" 1/3 HP Motor NET WEIGHT 510lbs" In the process of purchasing a new machine, so no room for my older ones anymore. We can take credit cards. All serious and fair offers considered. We also have a foot pedal riveter. We are in the process of getting a value for it, but make an offer in the mean time if you like! If interested in either machine, email or call with the contact information below. We do not log onto this website often at all. Thanks!
