I picked these buckles up in a can of junk I bought at a farm sale here in SD. Just wondering if any one that uses this sight has ever seen any like it. They are chrome or nickle plated over brass or bronze , and a 1 1/8 " strap just fits in it snug. I was thinking maybe they are McClellan (military) or maybe McCormick who made farm machinery, but maybe they made harness too !!??? Any ideas ???? I've attached some pictures. Thanks-------------Bill

I have had them hanging in my shop now for about 10 years, hoping some one could identify them . I have rebuilt 3 McClellan saddles for customers, but none of them had any conways like these. I was hoping someone on this Forum could help. Thanks for the response, keep them coming. ------------------Bill

It looks like a Trademark for a company. You might want to try the US Patent and Trademark Office atwww.uspto.gov/trademarks. They have a search tool for look for existing and old trademarks.

May also want to try livestock brands. I believe those are done by State.
