Members bstomper Posted February 4, 2011 Author Members Report Posted February 4, 2011 I paid $176 shipped, last Winter. I guess the price is the same, but don't know for sure. Maybe some other members who bought one more recently can confirm the price. I do know somebody that bought one from that eBay seller and it had a larger pulley that was hard to replace. They are not standard pulleys, as the shaft is narrower than most clutch and servo motors. The pulleys are hard to remove and replacements are hard to find at this time. I have asked the eBay seller if he has other pulley sizes for this motor and will report here when I find out. How's the best way to get hold of Bob Kovar? Does he have a website? Quote

The easiest way to contact him would be via email or messaging if it's at all possible. My clutch motor is running a 3" pulley at 1450rpm and I see that most of the others generaly run a 2" so I think this will be my first step. Does anyone run a hot wax pot on their machines and how do they go? Cheers, Bstomper Quote

Members neelsaddlery Posted February 14, 2011 Members Report Posted February 14, 2011 We may also be able to provide you with a flat leather style presser foot to fit your 45K. We use them on our Model 5 machines, and that machine is very close in design to the 45K. The cost of the leather foot is $85.00, and we also have some lower cost cast presser feet for $40.00. Thanks, Courtney I haven't had that machine since 1995. I don't remember any of the details about how it was set up. Members Anne Bonnys Locker Posted May 3, 2013 Members Report Posted May 3, 2013 Technically a 45k25 with a presser foot is a 45k21! I have not tried it but a rubber coated wheel off a cheap Chinese roller foot attachment might fit on the 45k roller foot. Quote Darren Brosowski
