Members ShortBBL Posted February 1, 2011 Members Report Posted February 1, 2011 Can you show something ith that pattern and show/tell what exact stamp you're using? I am having trouble finding one that will do a nice Fish Scale... Thanks! Quote
Members Tina Posted February 2, 2011 Members Report Posted February 2, 2011 I use the mulefoot tools: U-851, U-853, & U-855 or U-858, U-859 or U-710 whatever you prefer. They can also be used for dragon and snake scales:-) I attache a picture where I have used the mulefoot for the fish scales: Quote

Especially towards the middle there where you have the water on top of the fish. Quote
Members ShortBBL Posted February 2, 2011 Author Members Report Posted February 2, 2011 I like this pattern but cant find the tool that is wide enough. Most are more pointy vs rounder like in the pic. Quote
Ambassador Luke Hatley Posted February 2, 2011 Ambassador Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) Shorts, that is a Very Large Camoflodge Tool, look for the # c454 or c453 Edited February 2, 2011 by Luke Hatley Quote
Members Tina Posted February 2, 2011 Members Report Posted February 2, 2011 Nice Work! Especially towards the middle there where you have the water on top of the fish. Thanks a Million :-) I'm quite happy with the details too, the pattern came out much better than I had ever hoped for. Quote
Members BIGGUNDOCTOR Posted February 3, 2011 Members Report Posted February 3, 2011 If ya can't find it, make it! A tube trimmed into a half round on one end will do the trick for a simple scale effect. For more details, piece of metal, plastic, or even a harder wood will work. Quote
