As I've been learning to airbrush, I've been trying to read everything I can. Kate mentioned using an acrylic thinner and I though you simply used water. After a lot of searching I came across a forum with very sensible explanations. Here is a link to the discussion about thinners, mediums, and water. Two of the people really went into detail (about half way down page). It's a good read if you are airbrushing.

Thanks for posting this, Regis. I'm sure a lot of leather workers who use acrylic will find this information very enlightening.

Thanks for posting the link. I've become interested in airbrushing myself from references in leatherworker.net. I'm not sure yet that I'll do anything about it, though! Just what I need, more equipment purchases ...
