KAYAK45 Report post Posted March 1, 2011 Just arrived and assembled and sewing like crazy. (which is what my wife thinks of this). Went to goodwill and bought about ten pairs of defective jeans for $10. I've been cutting and sewing like a kid.(i am). Different needles and thread and stitch length and forward and,, OK you get the idea.!!! What a great machine AND super service from Ryan at Neals Saddlery. Set-up was a breeze with the pictures and instructions and a little common sense. Thats what I have, A LITTLE. It came with big thick sew-outs and I went over all of them again. It does sew really thick, and down to an old cotton shirt that was in the laundry. Why,... it's old? Now to sell a couple of old singers. Any takers???? Samuel Report post Posted March 2, 2011 Did you feel like a kid waiting for Christmas after you placed the order? I know I'm feeling that way right now! What sewing machine did you buy? What are the models of Singers you're thinking of getting rid of?

KAYAK45 Report post Posted March 3, 2011 Thanks for the remarks. I will get rid of my 31-15, 251-3 and union special bg. Will keep 111w155, I just like it! BUT there is no comparing to a real, lets see 411, 4000, 4500, 4xxxxxxxx! OH 400. 450, ???????? A 16" arm and a 7/8" lift, like the real leather machines, cannot be beat.
