Using Sno Seal On W&c Bridle Leather

I'm new to bridle leather and so I wasn't certain about this. Can you use Sno Seal on Bridle to help protect it, or would there be any negative effects to using it? Thanks!

W&C bridle is pretty water resistant as is. I just put a little Leather Balm on and buff it out.
