Looking to buy used Western holster and belt.

Howdy folks,

I'm getting married and I'm looking for some old beat up gun leather at a decent price to finish my Wedding Suit. I don't quite have the skills yet or the time yet to finish it one of my own before the Wedding. I'll get there, but not to the degree that would satisfy me for the Event. I need something right handed and around a 38 waist. I dont mind if some repair is required and don't care if it's fancy, it can be any color. It just has to be old school and fit a Colt. I can go from there. I'd like to rebuild and rework it, to make it special, so, like I said it can be rough. I'd prefer that anyway, I like the used and hammered way more than the new and shiny.

Have you looked on eBay or gunbroker?you might look at eBay or gunbroker

Just an idea but maybe a local tandy store has one they use as a sales aid and would be willing to loan or rent it to you. Or buy a bianchi, I think the least amount for one is in the 4-500 range on the website(then you wouldn't have to give it back) Good luck and best wishes on the wedding, 26 years or so for me and still good.

I've been on EBay for weeks now and most of the stuff is lousy. $400-$500 is what I'm trying to avoid and it's Western. It'll come around.

So I take it your pistol is an auto not a revolver? If thats the case and you don't want western style you should be able to get a holster and a seperate gunbelt at pretty much any gun shop at a reasonable price that you could modify or spruce up to meet your needs. Unless I have totally misunderstood your inquiry, LOL Jordan

I'm just looking for an Old West Rig, right handed, with a drop, with loops for rounds for a single action Colt Peacemaker. It needs to be at least a 38 waist, and can be in rough shape.

Ebay has had some but nothing has come around that was right. The wedding is all Old West on the South Rim of the Canyon so I thought it'd be nice to have some gun leather. I've been working on my gun spinning and gun play, and it's time for a rig to go with my real Colt and also my stunt Colt. I'd like to find something broken in, and kinda special, but don't need to spend a damn fortune on it. Ropes and whips are next.

I have a single holster cowboy rig that is actually brand new, but a little dusty. I took it in as part of a trade for a gun a couple of years ago. It's a medium brown russet color. It measures 38" to the center hole. The holster is made for a 4 5/8" single action. Has approx 12 ammo loops on the belt for .45. The price would be $85/shipped. Laffo I just saw one listed on craigs list in Redding Calif. for $95 might be worth a look if you are still in need it came up in a search making a western style holster and belt.
