Randy Cornelius Report post Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) I just have to vent a little, just got my booklet for the Rocky Mountian Trade show in Sheridan, Wy. The booklet it's self is full of bad printing if you can call it that there are all these little boxes where the words a subpost to be. And then they are having the awards banquet on Thursday night, thats right the same night as Sheridan Leather Outfiters has thier reception! How can we be two places at once. As far as I can tell there is nothing going on Friday or Sat. night. Whats up with that? Have just about decided not to go this year. Sorry I'll shut up now.... Previous shows -- Wickenburg, Sheridan, and other earlier places -- have all had the clusterf**k signature of the organizer. Inadequate information, cancelled classes, not-announced classes, simultaneous events, etc., etc, ad nauseum. Yet a lot of us still go for the social aspects of seeing ol' buds and the eternal hunt for new tools. I wouldn't let the conflict of Thursday night deter you. Since you've been to Sheridan before, you know there's plenty to see, tools to be had, events to attend. Besides, can you go thru the King Museum too many times?? I sure can't. Art Report post Posted April 14, 2011 Randy, King's is usually Thursday night and Sheridan Leather Outfitters is usually Friday and the Awards "reception" (hasn't been a banquet for years) use to be Saturday, so you can afford to lose the Awards thingy.
