After idling for some time, decided to make a simple wallet to warm up again.

At 0.75 inch thick, most will call it a brick I know. But that's how the raw denim folks like it :rolleyes:

Very nice look, and stiching is good.

I like this rough look of the edges too!

Where do you get python skin? I was thinking that exotic leather is restricted for export from US.

So how did you go about paying the taxes? Did the Singapore customs charge you or something?

By the way just curious how did your "dispute" with tandy end up?

If you buy through Tandy, they will advise you how much to pay. I believe UPS will then sort out the rest since it is a door to door service.

This is applicable for deer skins as well.

Tandy's customer service manager contacted me, and we decided that not much point he resend another of the same leather. So I bought a side of the Royal Meadow, and he credit off from the price, what I paid for the Craftsman Oak.
