Sealing A Leather Mug

Recommended Posts

Hello all this is my first time posting. My question is I am using Envirotex Lite to seal my mug the mug is about 5.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter how much Envirotex should I mix up for this size of mug I don't want to waste much. Another question is how do I apply it on the inside and can I coat the outside as well? Any help would be welcomed thanks.

Is that stuff food safe? Does it stand up to beer and alcohol? Just curious...

Envirotex is listed by the maker as indirectly food grade - counters and such, not vessels. It's probably safe and I'd probably use it for my own stuff but I wouldn't put it in anything I sell.
