bentley Report post Posted April 29, 2011 I was inspired by seeing the work of others in this topic so I made this collar and lead for my son's boxer. It is 10oz leather on the main collar and lead and lined with 2oz. I used eco-flo tan gel antique on the outer portion and left the lining natural with mink oil treatment. The collar fits a 16-1/2" neck and the lead is 24" long, all the hardware is from Tandy. Open to any and all critique.
Mijo Report post Posted May 5, 2011 bentley, your collar and leash set look pretty sweet. I like that extra d-ring you put on there that runs parrellel with the collar, I'm assuming that's for the dog tag. I'm guessing that the D-ring that's mounted close to the buckle would be used solely of attaching the leash

Actually the center D ring is for the short lead so the name stays centered while walking him. Not a lot of work but all the steps take several days to complete.
