Members bentley Posted April 29, 2011 Members Report Posted April 29, 2011 I was inspired by seeing the work of others in this topic so I made this collar and lead for my son's boxer. It is 10oz leather on the main collar and lead and lined with 2oz. I used eco-flo tan gel antique on the outer portion and left the lining natural with mink oil treatment. The collar fits a 16-1/2" neck and the lead is 24" long, all the hardware is from Tandy. Open to any and all critique. Quote Mark Bentley Leather Goods bentley.leather@gmail.com
Members Mijo Posted May 5, 2011 Members Report Posted May 5, 2011 bentley, your collar and leash set look pretty sweet. I like that extra d-ring you put on there that runs parrellel with the collar, I'm assuming that's for the dog tag. I'm guessing that the D-ring that's mounted close to the buckle would be used solely of attaching the leash Quote

Actually the center D ring is for the short lead so the name stays centered while walking him. Not a lot of work but all the steps take several days to complete.
