Hey Hey! As of today I am the proud new owner of a Cowboy CB-3500. It arrived just a few hours ago and I have only had time enough to put it together and run some test pieces through. I will post more pictures as I crank more out.

Congrats, I am jealous mine wont be here till tomorrow or Monday. Really hope tomorrow so I can play with it this weekend.

How was the setup? This is going to be my first real machine.

Kayak have you had any issues with yours so far, I have heard nothing but good about this class of machine weather it be cobra, these guys, or one of the many others out there. Would like to know if any one has had any issues though so I can have a heads up.

MADMAX22: Setup was really straight forward. I actually needed more "help" when it came to building the thread stand. The servo motor takes a little bit to get used to. I may upgrade to the larger one in the future. Reason: It has more features, knobs, and power. lol, Sorry I'm a guy! But really it was easy to set up, not so easy to get into the house. The head alone is 120 pounds. the box it comes in is large and unruly, with no real way to manhandle it. Believe me I tried. had to ask the neighbor for help.

So far I have used the machine without incident, If you take the intimidating size and raw power out of the equation it is much like using a standard sewing machine. But rest assured once I do have a problem, after i'm done crying, I will ask for some help. Thank you for the offer KAYAK45.

Your presser foot pedal chain should go thru the hole in corner of the base and thru the table to the pedal. That will keep the chain from scratching up your cylinder arm and work piece. That is a good looking machine, hope it works as good as it looks!

OK one bit off advice!

If you want to raise the table height, disconect the chain from the peddle and turn off the power, first.

Otherwise raising the table is the same as lowering the pedal.!!!

You might/will put a hole in your finger with the needle.!!!

Don't worry it heals in about one week.

Otherwise this is a great machine that does everything you want.
