Kimbearlys Report post Posted May 9, 2011 Question. I have a old Bonis A series. When I sew - looks like it sews wonderfully. Then the needle will break. I notice when I take it off the machine and pull the thread, everything that I sewed - I am able to pull off. (like when you pull a chain stitch) Just the holes are left- Thread is one nice long piece. (pulled out) Thanks in advance. I feel like I could take "Bella" apart and put her back together. I have spent hours trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.
CowboyBob Report post Posted May 9, 2011 Your stopping it in the wrong spot, try stopping right after the needle picks up the thread, let the needle come out of the material & then pull alittle slack thread & pull out the material you've sewn. Bob Thank you so very much!! I am going to try it out now. Also, what about skipped stitches. Doesn't skip when I start up by hand- When I start to go fast she will skip. I really appreciate your help. I am one of those who tries to figure it out by myself but this on has me stumped! Greatful for your response Bob. Kimbearly P.S. here are some pictures of her cleaned up.
