The ball ends unscrew as well. Quote

LOL Good thing I wasn't counting on that. I wrapped mine with cotton medical tape. I thought the leather would stick to the cotton better than the other tapes I use, and it's really thin. There isn't any slipping that I can feel. Ok, are they called bangle or cuff bracelets. I thought they were cuff. Quote
