sewingsailor Report post Posted June 23, 2011 I have an opportunity to buy a Singer 211U X567B for a reasonable price. I've been able to find information on the 211 and know the "U" means it was made in Japan rather than Germany, but haven't found anything, anywhere about the X576B designation. jamesharness Report post Posted June 24, 2011 I bought same model from ole boy down here out of a factory. I called around it was missing screws. I found out some of the 211 singer parts are hard to find. It's been under my bench for a few years. I'd say stick with the older Singer, Juki, consew for sewing chaps.
