Dude Report post Posted June 30, 2011 Hi all. I have a Singer 111w but do not know which submodel. The idenitifying tag was missing on the front of the machine when I purchased it 15 years ago. My particular version has the thread length adjuster as a knurled knob on the end of the handwheel with numbers 6 thru I think 24. Could anyone possibly advise what model 111w this is and how I may remove the handwheel. The handwheel has a set screw in it where the drive belt goes over but loosening this set screw/taking it completely out does not seem to let the handwheel come loose. Thanks everyone, Darryl
CowboyBob Report post Posted June 30, 2011 It's probably a 111w101 & there another screw on the handwheel under the belt too(that your missing) that you'll need to loosen to get it off. Bob
Dude Report post Posted June 30, 2011 Thanks for the prompt response. You were definitely right! There was a second screw that I had missed. Loosened both and it came right off. Thanks again for your help. Darryl It's probably a 111w101 & there another screw on the handwheel under the belt too(that your missing) that you'll need to loosen to get it off.
