Just started..what you think?

ok these are my very first try, trying to learn the art of leathercrafting, and I got the design from a kit, and they are very bad considering its the first i tried, but i thought i'd share it with you (sorry for the bad quality..really bad)

Do you have both carving and stamping tools? They work together to bring out the image.

yes i do, my uncle was very big into it, so i have most of his old stuff, im working on a custom wallet for myself right now, and thank you for the positive feedback

First off, welcome to the forum. From the pictures it's real hard to tell just whats going on, without being able to see the knife cuts, and such. From what I can see, it looks as if your off to a good start though.

Looks a whole lot better than my first attempt, can't wait to see what you can do with some practice.

Welcome to the forum. Looks better than my first attempt, too. Keep practicing. Keep reading and watching good instructional materials and you'll get better. The main thing is to learn the basics and practice them before you try more advanced stuff. That and always have fun.

something else i did 2day (thank you for all the feedback as well, greatly appreciated)..and again these pictures are not the best quality.....ya its an eagle, globe, and anchor, but the pic quality blows so u cant really c the eagle
