Box Alarm Leather Report post Posted July 19, 2011 Hello all, I found a gentleman who has the attached Stimpson machine for sale ($150) that I would be interested in if it could be used for rivets. He says the machine was an "eyelet" machine and I'm not familiar with machines. We currently handset our "star" or "splash" rivets. Also, with an automatic machine like this, do the holes still need to be punched for the rivets or does the machine punch the hole and set the rivets? If I were you I would buy it clean it up and find a client that needs lots of eyelets set. That machine will do the job it was set up for all day forever. If you don't want it can I please call dibs?
