Members sable Posted July 21, 2011 Members Report Posted July 21, 2011 I need a simple wallet made. I just need two pieces of thin leather sewn around three edges to allow credit cards to go in the top. I want nice horse leather or other nice leather and nice stitching. Very similar to the Makr "angle" wallet, but I want to change the design a bit. No tooling on the leather needed, just want the edges burnished and sealed. If you can help me, just send me a PM Quote
KAYAK45 Posted July 21, 2011 Report Posted July 21, 2011 Welcome Sable to a great,...No the greatest leather working trade site on the internet! The Forum, I think is designed for those who want to DO/LEARN leatherwork. If you are a budding craftsman who needs help with some stitching tutorial, WELCOME. ON the other hand if you are looking for someone to make a single item for you, this may not be the best site. IMHO Kevin WELCOME AGAIN AS A NEW MEMBER Quote
Members Shacknasty Posted July 22, 2011 Members Report Posted July 22, 2011 Why don't you do it yerself? For less than what you would pay someone, you could purchase an awl, a couple of needles and some linen thread. Then you could make as many wallets as you want. A piece of canvas or denim, some elbow grease and yer in bidness! Quote
Members rawhide1 Posted July 22, 2011 Members Report Posted July 22, 2011 Kevin You are right this forum was created to help leatherworkers share projects and answer any questions they may have. But this area was put together so folks that needed a leatherworker to make an item for them could find that said person. So Sable you posted this in the right place and hopefully someone can help you out. Mike Welcome Sable to a great,...No the greatest leather working trade site on the internet!
