Members tparrish Posted July 22, 2011 Members Report Posted July 22, 2011 Hi Everyone, I have been searching, and searching, and searching some more, for some nice glove leather to use for repairing baseball gloves and making replacement pockets. I was in contact with Horween (often used by Rawlings), got samples that were perfect but now can't get them to talk to me about an order. So, I was wondering if anyone had any resources for high quality leather for this specific use. I have the contact info for the tannery that Rawlings uses but was told by outsiders they wont sell to small independents. I appreciate any help. Thank you, Tony Quote
dirtclod Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 If it's the tannery in Tenn. i bought some latigo from them a few years ago with no problem. Might be different now. Call and see if they will sell to you. Quote
