What do you use for the ties on your masks? I used to use round lacing, but that got expensive and tended to break after a while. I'm now using black organza ribbon from a craft store, but at $4/10 yards, it's getting a bit pricey too.

Thanks :)

i have always used a double strand of thin round elastic. It holds the mask comfortably and the elastic can hide under the hair. Most women dont want something sitting on top of the hair...ruins the hairdo...lol. I have two small holes about 1cm apart on either side of the mask and thread the elastic through. This way each bit of elastic can be positioned high and low on the head and the mask is held more securely without having to tie something tight.

cheers

I've been using ribbon. Some people don't like having to tie something on though and I've been thinkin of switching to elastic.
