Members Eaglestroker Posted August 22, 2011 Members Report Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) I've had more time than usual to spend on leather as of late - these are just a few of my favorites! Critiques and comments are welcome, my last critics made my basket weave MUCH better. Edited August 22, 2011 by Eaglestroker Quote

Members Shooter McGavin Posted August 22, 2011 Members Report Posted August 22, 2011 While they are all nice, I really really really like the first one. ( long barreled revolver ) Quote
Members Eaglestroker Posted August 22, 2011 Author Members Report Posted August 22, 2011 (edited) Thank you Shooter, that was my favorite of the group. My first 6" revolver actually, took two try's to get it to my liking. My revolver holsters seem to attract the most attention for whatever reason! Here's another look for you, I'm especially proud of how my edges are starting to turn out. This was the first version. I didn't leave enough room on the edge and about two stitches popped out the edge, I'm happier with version two all around so it works out. Edited August 22, 2011 by Eaglestroker Quote
Members Big O Posted August 22, 2011 Members Report Posted August 22, 2011 I love the simplicity of the 1911 scabbard, even though the exposed trigger gives me the heebie-jeebies. I'd love to see the back of it. Quote

I'd love to see the back of it. Just say yes to the exposed trigger! I based this holster loosely off of 'the wild bunch' rigs I've seen on here. I wanted something with a slim profile while working on the farm, I love the pancake but with a knife and flashlight pouch with an extra mag or two the belt just has too much on it to keep them all in convenient grip and out of my back. The next one will be a little fancier as I've been teaching myself how to lace and I think that big fat welted edge is begging for it.. I will probably skive the belt loop down where it's stitched so it doesn't sit so far away from the body of the holster as well. If you want to see anything particular besides this I have a few more photos. Quote
Members Haystacker Posted August 23, 2011 Members Report Posted August 23, 2011 Nice job. The J frame is my favorite. I like Lobo's response about exposed trigger on a 3person or wild bunch style of holster. Quote
