Billy H Report post Posted November 28, 2011 Yesterday was just about perfect for riding! So I thought I might do a little show and tell with my kids. They are riding one of our Icelandics with their saddles I made for them.

Billy H Report post Posted November 29, 2011 (edited) Oops, try one more time. It looks like my little girl has just about out grown her saddle--- they grow so fast! Edited November 29, 2011 by Billy H
Denise Report post Posted November 29, 2011 She'll still fit the saddle. She just needs longer stirrups!
Billy H Report post Posted November 29, 2011 Hi Denise, Yes you are right I need to lengthen her stirrups. I am in denial--I told her she can not have any more birthdays! She just rolled her eyes, smiled and walked away. She has grown almost 3 inches since July. Thanks Billy

AdamTill Report post Posted November 29, 2011 Good job on the saddles, and nice pics! I'm envious of the amount of room you have on that Icelandic back when you're not trying to fit a full-sized Wade there! (I have an Icelandic as well). Cheers, Adam
Billy H Report post Posted December 3, 2011 Thanks JW, Trying to figure out these new DSLR cameras ( lots of buttons ). Been looking at your Gelding for sale more than a time or two, really nice. Thankyou Adam, The Icelandics are my kids horses, but I have worked with my sons horse quite a lot and have a saddle I built that works well. It has 22 inch bars with a fair amount of relief in the back and kept the skirts short at 25 inches, does not look out of place it is also a Slick Fork. Icelandics are truly a amazing horse.
