Another good one Steve. Some cowboy is going to have a good Christmas. How far from the edge do you lace your skirts and what is the distance between the lacing holes from one jockey to the other jockey?

Thanks,

CW

Thanks. The skirts are laced under the housings, about 2 1/2" from the rear edge. The housings are laced 1 1/2"s apart or 3/4" from the edge of each jockey.Hope that helps

Steve, great looking saddle!

Half Breed saddles look sharp and I like a roughout seat.

It is good to see your work, makes me try harder.

Steve,

Saddle looks really nice. Is running the stirup leathers on the outside of the fenders just for extra style or some sort of function.

Great looking saddle. I do have a stupid question. I am familiar with the term "wade," but what is a 'half breed?' Does it have to do with the use of grain and flesh sides of leather? Just thought it would be interesting to know.

Thanks.
