Members TheDuke Posted December 20, 2011 Members Report Posted December 20, 2011 I ran into a guy who has an old Singer 78-1, I was just wondering if anyone at LW has dealt with this machine? If so, would this be a decent investment for lighter leather work? I have been sewing on this make of machine for about 12 years and am very happy with the performance. It is a more simple machine without a feed dog so you will be able to control your work easier. The 78-3 is the same machine and the 78-2 is similar with the end chopped off. I really like the 78-1, They are a great machine. Quote
