Members albyneau Posted December 24, 2011 Members Report Posted December 24, 2011 New to the forum here~ howdy folks! Picked up a Singer 111w103 a while back, refinishing the table now, and just about ready to start playing with it. I'd love to find an operator's manual(paper or PDF) so as not to stitch my fingers together, source parts (just in case), and maybe get some clues as to the pros -n- cons of this particular machine. TIA~ Scott Quote

Thanks, JJ~ it's a start! I did find a bobbin cover I need~ mine's frozen in place, and it looks like someone tried to drive it out with a millface framing hammer.... Peace~ Scott P.S.~ nice trike! One project slated for the machine is to fab up my own seat for my fatboy.... . Quote
Members TOM123 Posted December 25, 2011 Members Report Posted December 25, 2011 (edited) Welcome Scott, I think you will find people on this forum very helpful. It took sometime to find a link posted by "busted" but here it is http://parts.singerc...m/IPpartCharts/ I know your machine is not listed but look at the 111w104 it might help. Also you might try singer co. they might have a manual they could send you. I have a singer 153k103 it came with the original manual. the manual has the 101, 102, 103, and the 104 all in one book. good luck Edited December 25, 2011 by TOM123 Quote

I actually DID find the 103 there~ now to search for an exploded view to put pics to the parts, and help me learn a new language. In my surfing I did find that the 103 was the first 111w to have a feed dog~ is that correct? If so, any first edition issues/design flaws to be concerned with? Members TOM123 Posted December 26, 2011 Members Report Posted December 26, 2011 I do not know your machine personally but I did find an old post that sewmun replied to back in 2009 http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20384 and as I type this I see an add at the top of the page for Toledo Industrial. After look you have as had to find anything about this machine as mine. maybe others on this forum can help more than I can----someone here must have a owners manual that can help. good luck Quote
Members TOM123 Posted December 31, 2011 Members Report Posted December 31, 2011 Scott did you have any luck yet? If not try a new post and label it as operators manual needed for 111w103 so other members will see the head line and click in to see. Quote
