Members rkleather Posted January 10, 2012 Members Report Posted January 10, 2012 Made this for a friend. First time making a holster for revolver. He says he wants to get stag grips now, I bet it will look cool! Quote
Members Abram Posted January 10, 2012 Members Report Posted January 10, 2012 Nice holster. I like the look of the dark inside and light outside, may have to give that a try. Quote

From the old grumpy guy; Not bad for your first wheelgun rig, but I think that you could use more leather out there on the belt loops, they should lay more or less flat on the guy's body. Down the road you might try out the 'enhanced' pancake style designed by LOBO Gunleather. Ray really did his research and development on this design, so if you use it give him credit. It has to be the best mod to the original pancake I've ever seen, and overcomes the one weakness of the original, IMO. A pic of my first holster in that style, made for a little SIG.. It's a bit more work, but works out much beter over time.Mike Quote
Members mattsh Posted January 13, 2012 Members Report Posted January 13, 2012 Nice look for first revolver holster. Think I agree with Mike on the belt loops they look a little short. Quote
