craftsman827 Report post Posted February 10, 2012 I showed the bag you made to my wife. She Loved it so much, that now she wants me to make her one. Is there anyway you could e-mail me the cutting pattern ? Not the tooling pattern, the parts patterns.

Not the tooling pattern, the parts patterns. Glad your wife like it,but sorry no digital patterns available. I design with paper & pencil ,and made the pattern by paper board. I can give you de size,if it is a little bit helpful. it is 30 * 18 * 8 cm,belt around 65cm.

Stephan Danner Report post Posted February 19, 2012 Thank you for sharing this piece of art! My first project was a handbag for my wife - a tandy kit and not to compare with yours. How do you get your leather that black? Till now I only used the tandy-blacks, but they all get a little violett-blue-blackish :-(
boma Report post Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) Thank you for sharing this piece of art! My first project was a handbag for my wife - a tandy kit and not to compare with yours. How do you get your leather that black? Till now I only used the tandy-blacks, but they all get a little violett-blue-blackish :-( I have trouble to get the good dye too.All I can find are "sub-assembly" or "no brands",some are ok if lucky. Anyway,I would use some black paste or tan ,after dye the leather, to make the corlor more natural,if not darker.
