Members craftsman827 Posted February 10, 2012 Members Report Posted February 10, 2012 I showed the bag you made to my wife. She Loved it so much, that now she wants me to make her one. Is there anyway you could e-mail me the cutting pattern ? Not the tooling pattern, the parts patterns. Quote

Members Stephan Danner Posted February 19, 2012 Members Report Posted February 19, 2012 Thank you for sharing this piece of art! My first project was a handbag for my wife - a tandy kit and not to compare with yours. How do you get your leather that black? Till now I only used the tandy-blacks, but they all get a little violett-blue-blackish :-( Quote
Members boma Posted February 20, 2012 Author Members Report Posted February 20, 2012 (edited) Thank you for sharing this piece of art! My first project was a handbag for my wife - a tandy kit and not to compare with yours. How do you get your leather that black? Till now I only used the tandy-blacks, but they all get a little violett-blue-blackish :-( I have trouble to get the good dye too.All I can find are "sub-assembly" or "no brands",some are ok if lucky. Anyway,I would use some black paste or tan ,after dye the leather, to make the corlor more natural,if not darker. Edited February 20, 2012 by boma Quote
