Staining For This Fabulous & Unusual Effect

Can anyone tell me how to stain/resist for this effect on this holster & belt? They couldn't have resisted each heart shape 1 by 1...could they? Anyone recognize that heart/apple looking stamp? Is that custom or available some where?

The stamp is an O85, item number 68085 at Tandy. It looks like the finish job was done with an airbrush.

have done the finish a few times and I use an air brush. but in a hurry you can use the canned air from Tandy's

Airbrush finish...easy to apply...but eventually will rubb off.

Dye can't penetrate, so it just sits on top of grain...but shure

looks cool!!
