AndrewMc Report post Posted March 11, 2012 Hate to be the one that says it but you missed a bit. It's from Al Stohlmans Project & Designs book, a friend used to have one of these years ago. The upper part where you've stitched the three pieces of leather together is supposed to have a gusset between to give more space for coins. When closed the part with the folded leather lip stops the coins falling out and when open gives you somewhere to sort through your change. After saying all that the book only shows it whip stitched so the double loop is nice as is the lack of any creases on the folded curved lip. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Thanks AndrewMC, I acually found the pattern pieces in my files while cleaning up shop. I'll have to find the other piece (thanks for that catch!).
