ArtS Report post Posted July 10, 2008 Hey Folks, I was just curious if any of you were thinking of attending the Extreme Leather Workshop in North Carolina on March 26-28. I went to the last one in April and it was great! Chan Geer was a great teacher and person. I learned a lot and really enjoyed it. It was the first time that there was a class so close to me (Georgia). I hope some of you can go so I can meet you. Heck I'm hoping I can go! LOL There are going to be 6 instructors, all Al Stohlman Award winners. Here is the link in case you're interested. http://www.hidestoart.com ArtS
abn Report post Posted July 10, 2008 You're right, Art... There aren't many opportunities like this on the East Coast. Do you mind if I ask a few questions? It sounds like each class is three days and you select only one, right? It's not like seminars, where you get a few hours in each class and attend all of them, I'm guessing. Also, do you need to bring your own tools, or are they supplied for you? Thanks for mentioning this class. Best, -Alex
abn Report post Posted July 10, 2008 I found the answers to my questions. (Just have to read, I guess. ) The web site says you pick one three-day class, and provides a list of tools needed.
ArtS Report post Posted July 11, 2008 They will also be selling tools there. ArtS
paris3200 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 The web site says you pick one three-day class, and provides a list of tools needed. Can you provide a link to the page with the class descriptions and the tool list? I can't seem to find it on the site. Jason
